Mak OX

The Mak OX as the name says is designed for the Waimakiriri River races like the Coast to Coast, but its limits are not just for the river. Being 6m long and 475mm wide its hull is off the 6m intermediate long distance ski of ours.

So it is just as much at home in the chop of estuaries and the harbour as it is in the rivers. This boat is aimed at the paddler that wants the speed of a long boat but the stability of an intermediate boat. Being 475 wide with a raked flattish bottom it does just that.
